Board Member

Adrian is an accomplished engineer with over 35 years experience in advanced manufacturing for transport industries, in particular; aerospace, power generation and F1. He co-founded the globally recognised Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC with Boeing) through which he has developed close working relationships with C-suite executives from many of the world's foremost manufacturing industries.

Adrian's role within ITL is to create awareness within global industries and governments as to the vast Economic and Environmental potential of a lighter, safer, smaller, longer range Hydrogen fuel tank capability.

Board Member

Stuart is an energetic business leader and entrepreneur qualified in aeronautical engineering with career experience spanning marketing, sales, strategy and overall business leadership in the aerospace, defence, space and medical technology sectors. He is passionate about new technologies and innovations which answer the pressing challenge of green energy and the creation of a sustainable future for our ever growing global community.  He has career experience in both blue chip global and small venture backed business with a focus on developing and communicating corporate strategy, financing and fundraising, M&A transacting, identifying and building business partnerships.

Board Member

 Yan is the third-generation leader of the Castle Precision engineering business. With a background in manufacturing engineering and operations management, he is experienced in everything from the daily practical to strategic plan cascade in a leading production supply chain SME for the aerospace & defence sectors. He has a passion for manufacturing technology and lean production systems in the pursuit of securing & building long term domestic High Value Manufacturing. Yan is a long term member of the Young Presidents Organisation (YPO), a current advisor to the Strategic Leadership Group and oversight committee to Making Scotland’s Future programme, a previous council member of the Forum for Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Skills (FAMES) and a guest presenter at various industry events.

David has championed >£150M inward investment into the UK's academic and industrial partnership networks. He has a successful track record of supporting the formation and growth of SMEs and multinationals within Scotland, enabling them to compete in national and global energy service markets. David is an Eminent Overseas Professor of Nagasaki University and Professor of Smart Systems at Heriot-Watt University. David has published over 135 publications, holds 3 patents and has received several awards for innovation including;

Board Member & General Counsel

 David is a Corporate Finance lawyer and has more than 30 years’ experience in M&A, private equity and AIM. As a partner in a leading Scottish corporate legal practice he retains a part-time presence in the corporate community. He also has interests and directorships in companies ranging from start-ups through growing technology companies, both privately funded and private equity backed, to a listed Venture Capital Trust. He is a key player in Innovatus’s ongoing development with responsibility for legal, contractual, regulatory, and strategic development. 

Managing Director

Ruan is the Founder/Managing Director of Innovatus Technologies with multiple years experience in industry on various projects, whilst completing a Masters in Product Design Engineering at Strathclyde University. He is determined to create and provide innovative solutions with the aim of reducing global carbon emissions and relevant environmental issues. Ruan developed a simple yet innovative application of proven composite materials within a next generation manufacturing process, providing a direct route in achieving the unique and flexible storage solution, SHyFT. His fundamental goals are job creation, country wealth generation and to be the industry leading enabler for a zero-carbon future.

Senior Program Manager

   Travis has a decade of experience in the aerospace and engineering industry. He has worked alongside UK and European Space Agencies, as well as world renowned engineering firms like BAE Systems, and multiple universities to help deliver government backed projects. His background comprises of a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelors with Honours in Aircraft Engineering from the University of West of Scotland. Travis's role within the company is to oversee and lead engineering activities and deliverables to provide a first-class standard to our customers.
